These guys are pretty good. Fast, precision, skilled guitar playing, kind of in the vein of Marduk, accompanied by occasional keyboards which appear in most but not all of the songs. The vocals are very high pitched sighs almost, impossible to understand but the lyrics are printed in the cover. My biggest complaint about this album (and if you get it, this will be overly apparent after the first listen) are the clean vocals incorporated into about three songs. They are sung in this annoying, congested voice by a guy who obviously doesn't have any experience singing. When he tries to reach higher notes his voice wavers with the effort and he sings out of tune most of the time. Well, at least they only attempt these vocals in three songs (for one full song and the other two songs just in parts of them). All the lyrics are about Nordic folklore invovling Thor, Odin, Loke, etc., and nature. They are very well written and sometimes tell a whole story such as the last song. That last song is a 16 minute epic divided into "acts" which are reflected in the song by interspersed spoken segments. This is a really good album, very well produced, intricate guitar playing, atmospheric keyboards, and overall nice sounding songs.
